The OZtrail gazebo spring clip is a metal fitting. It is located inside the leg that holds in place the Adjustment Hub. It suits the Standard, Compact, and Deluxe gazebo range.

Note 1:

In most cases, the spring clip gets pushed in too far and may still be located inside the leg. That's because the spring clips are designed to push up towards the top of the gazebo leg.

Pro Tip:

  • Take apart the top corner fitting (Top Corner Junction Hub).
  • Shine a torch down the hollow tube because the spring clip on the legs may have just been pushed in too far.
  • If you see it, use a long screwdriver to manoeuvre the spring clip back into place.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I have a Deluxe 3M OZtrail gazebo and after using it on the weekend, I found that the yellow clips at the top of 2 legs (that click in at the top to support the whole frame are no longer engaging/clicking). Can you advise what parts I would need/ and instructions on how to replace them? I had a look at the diagram provided on the site and believe it will be the spring clips?  (June 2014)
Mandy

A: By the sounds of it, the spring clips have either pushed up or down inside the leg. In many cases if you take the top corner hub (black plastic fitting) and shine a light down inside the pole you may be able to see where your existing clip is and if you have a long screwdriver (or similar) or a coathanger wire you may be able to move the clip back into place (rather than buy more clips).

Q: We need some spring clips for 2 gazebo legs and need to know how to fit them. Many thanks! (Novemeber 2014)
Judy

A: To install a spring clip you just need to take off the plastic fitting on top of the leg and push it down so that the button part of the clip goes into the leg first. You will likely need a long screwdriver (or something similar) to push it down far enough and also a torch to see down there to try and get it to the right place so it pops out of the hole.

In most cases, the existing spring clips pop back inside the leg and are not actually broken so if you take the fitting off the top of the leg and shine it down you may find the clip has just moved up a little bit and can be pushed back down into place.

Check our customer reviews and testimonials; you'll find that our customers often comment on shipping refunds as we find better methods of delivery.

If you're purchasing a gazebo as well as other accessories we will customise your shipping freight based on the company we believe will be best suited based on the products ordered, delivery location, price and expected delivery time.
