Transportation
Gazebos Australia uses different freight companies as well as the Australia Post to transport its merchandise.
In some cases, we may end up sending the order via Australia Post or on a different freight company including:
- Toll
- TNT
- Hunter
- Brizfreight
- Followmont
- Fastway Couriers
- EGo Transport
Shipping Cost
The shipping cost varies depending on the products type and quantities you ordered as well as your location within Australia.
The freight cost is automatically calculated during the checkout process and prices are charged based on the physical or cubic weight of the package, whichever is higher, and for delivery via E-Go Road Transport.
We highly suggest that before you make the payment you need to check the total freight amount and if you are not happy with the cost you just simply cancel the order.
We consider changing freight company if we find their prices to be reasonable and/or they deliver a lot faster to your location. We will then process a refund to the freight amount you have been overcharged.
If no freight cost comes up in checkout method, it means that the item you purchase is too large to deliver to your location. However, you can also contact us via Live Chat or you can send us an email at help@gazebosaustralia.com.au for a rough freight quote of the product that you want to purchase.
Despatch Time
Gazebos Australia orders are regularly packaged and despatched within 1 working day of payment and delivery instructions being received.
We provide a door to door delivery for those who are located in remote locations like islands. But, for isolated communities and the like, we will be asking you for the nearest freight depot so you can collect your items from there.
Hence, it is very important for you to provide your correct address as we cannot be held responsible for this mistake. You will be charged for a fee for re-delivering the items that are being returned to us due to incorrect address details.
Sometimes there may be delays due to freight companies’ non-operation on public holidays, severe weather conditions, seasonal holidays, weekends, and other circumstances.
Delivery Time
**WE CANNOT AND DO NOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY DATES OR TIMES**
Delivery Time for your order depends entirely on:
- Where you live in Australia,
- What item you’ve purchase and
- How long it takes to get the Delivery Instructions from you.
As we don’t do any deliveries in our company we have no control over what day or time deliveries are made.
We can give you an approximate delivery time frame (in days) but we cannot and we do not guarantee delivery on or by particular days or times as once your orders leave our store we have no control over the courier companies.
We must have Delivery Instructions on where you authorise the courier to leave the package on your premises if no one is home for your delivery.
Delivery Instructions

If your order is to be shipped on your business address we need the correct name of the business address along with the opening hours to make it easier for the courier to find and deliver your order.
If you order/purchase and you did not provide us with your Delivery Instructions within 24 hours of placing your order we will instruct the courier to leave the package at the front of your door.
This will be done at your risk due to not providing us with the delivery instructions within an adequate time frame and for us, we don’t want to want to delay the delivery of your order by continuing to chase you for instructions.
The reason why we need to put delivery instructions on every order we despatch is because the courier will either return the goods to our warehouse or return it to their depot, if no one is home when they deliver on your premises.
And in either case the buyer will be liable for whatever extra freight charges are payable to get your order re-delivered. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide the correct address for the delivery.
If the item is returned to us and we are charged for a re-delivery fee because the customer has given an incorrect address (this includes making a typo) then the customer is liable for the extra freight charges to have their order delivered.
Where possible the carrier companies we use will deliver to your door. However in some cases (Remote Townships, Islands, Isolated Communities, etc) the delivery will be to the nearest depot or Town with a drop-off point for the customer to collect the items.
In some regional towns, you may also find freight is only delivered once a week therefore the delivery may take longer than expected. Unfortunately, in these cases, we don’t always know this information when the goods are shipped.
We only realise this when we are looking into an ETA for the delivery after the goods have already left our warehouse. Once again, we have no control over the carrier companies and their delivery schedules.

Notes:
That there are times that we do not take into account due to the peak seasons such as Christmas, Easter and more. Also the seasonal closures and public holiday periods. Plus working days from Monday to Friday (excluding local Public Holidays).
