Why is the Deluxe Gazebo so popular?
The OZtrail Deluxe Gazebo is the best portable shelter available on the market today. Wild claim I know, but it is true. The simple fact of the matter is that if you have a look around at your local weekend market you'll see the OZtrail Deluxe Gazebo model absolutely everywhere. I promise. Just look up and you'll see "OZtrail Deluxe Gazebo" written on the side of each blue gazebo you see.
Why are the OZtrail Deluxe Gazebos so popular?
OZtrail make good quality, durable canopies.
The Deluxe gazebo comes with a 1 year warranty on the fabric and all components. OZtrail can offer such a generous warranty because they use a thicker grade steel, struts and heavier canopy material than other gazebo ranges and brands. There is a 'hip & ridge' system that runs along the sides and up the middle of the frame. This type of engineering provides better overall strength. The polyester canopy is rated 300D. This means it's thicker than poorer quality gazebos. So the manufacturer is confident enough in their product that even if you use it every single weekend at your market stall it will last the distance.
They are a good price.
The gazebo currently retails for around $299.00. If you hunt around online you can get it from as low as $189.00. Online distributors such as Gazebos Australia who specialise in just selling gazebos are able to buy in bulk, don't run a retail shopfront, package efficiently and therefore pass the lower cost onto consumers.
Gazebos Australia have hundreds of gazebos available in stock, in the warehouse, so can ship to you very quickly.
So $189.00 for a portable canopy that can last you several years is not expensive. If you have a thriving market stall with good profit margins on your products then you should be able to make that cost back in a day. $189.00 is far less than setting up a retail shop, and that's the beauty of having a weekend market stall. Less trouble, less fuss.
Australian and therefore local and easily accessible
Even if a part does break it can be easily replaced. OZtrail gazebos are designed in such a way that you can easily replace parts. Although I've heard directly from the NSW Sales Rep that this is very rare. (Might just be a good PR spin from him? Perhaps. Perhaps not.) Being an Australian company they're accountable to their Australian customers. They are keen to build a good reputation, and fan base!
It takes two people to erect. Your neighbourly stall holder might help you if they're not too busy. But despite requiring two people at least it only takes 3 minutes.
You can watch a video of Mel putting the gazebo up here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iBS5c1t9Cw&feature=player_embedded
If it has been raining heavily (which will happen on weekends) the water may pond, but even then OZtrail have a gutter system. So not such a bad drawback.
I'm not sure if you would consider this a drawback but they're not designed as a permanent structure. This means you need to fold and pack it away each day after use. But I think that's quite logical so not really a negative.
What have others said about the OZtrail Deluxe Gazebo?
"Fantastic deluxe gazebo very strong and hard wearing, has stayed up despite our recent windy weather. Easy to setup but you do need some help and would be easy to take down. Also, comes with a handy bag for storage. Over all "Excellent"!"

"Being a first time market stall holder I thought the gazebo was going to be a real struggle to put up. Not so. Really quite easy. It does need two people but it only took 2 minutes to do. Not that big an ask. I'm really happy with it. I also like the canopy I bought but that took me a bit longer to figure out. Overall veyr happy with the service and product."

Why is the Deluxe Gazebo, this particular one, so popular?
I think it comes down to word of mouth. Weekend stall holders have obviously asked around and cased out what their competitors use. Everyone just seems to be using the OZtrail Deluxe Gazebo. It's a good size, inexpensive, durable, good warranty and easily available.
